The economy may be getting better for the time being, but not for those at the bottom! Food stamp usage just hit 44.1 million people in December and averaged $134 a month per person.

Question: Aren’t we in an economic recovery.   Answer:  Well, yes…..according to the government! The Department of Agriculture reports that 42.9 million people collected food stamps last month, up 1.2% from the prior month and 16.2% higher than the same time a year ago.
